Confucius Institute

The Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva is a center for teaching and research on contemporary China, with a special focus on scientific diplomacy.

Member of the Confucius global network of institutes, it relies on a partnership with the prestigious Renmin University in Beijing, as well as Hanban.

As the Confucius Institutes at Stanford University, Edinburgh University, or at the London School of Economics, it hosts research projects, organizes seminars and conferences, and provides courses for the entire Geneva University community, as well as its partners.

The Geneva-Tsinghua Initiative and the Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva organize joint events and benefit each other with their respective expertise and networks.
