Programme at a glance
The Geneva Trialogue fosters communication and collaboration between academia, international organizations and the private sector, to tackle the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
For this third fully online edition of the Geneva Trialogue, the University of Geneva is collaborating with UNITAR, the UN Institute for Training and Research, to convene thought leaders, education innovators and decision-makers from educational institutions, international organizations and the private sector.
After prior Trialogues on “Knowledge and the SDGs” and “Scaling Education for the SDGs” in 2016 and 2019 respectively, the theme of the 2021 Geneva Trialogue is “Scaling Open Innovation for the SDGs”, covering a range of current initiatives and envisioned opportunities that apply principles of open innovation to achieving the Global Goals.
The goal of this event, in the spirit of SDG 17, is to inspire new partnerships that can reach millions of learners of all ages, and help such networks tackle the Global Goals in impactful ways.
